1. What is MyAdRocket?
MyAdRocket is a free online classified advertisements platform for buyers and sellers across India. Whether you want to sell used electronics, find a job, rent a property, buy a second-hand car, or offer local services — MyAdRocket connects millions of buyers and sellers in local communities across every state and city in India.
2. Is MyAdRocket free to use?
Yes! Posting a basic classified ad on MyAdRocket is completely free. You can browse listings, contact sellers, create an account, and post ads without paying anything. We also offer optional paid promotion plans (Spotlight, Featured listings) for extra visibility and reach.
3. Who can use MyAdRocket?
MyAdRocket is open to anyone aged 18 and above residing in India. Individuals selling personal items, small businesses, shops, freelancers, property dealers, car dealers, and service providers are all welcome.
4. How is MyAdRocket different from other platforms?
MyAdRocket stands apart through our AI-powered ad description generator, hyper-local search filters, real-time messaging system, mobile-optimized experience, and verified seller community. We focus on quality listings rather than spam-filled results.
Posting Ads
5. How do I post an ad on MyAdRocket?
Posting an ad takes less than 3 minutes:
- Create a free account or log in.
- Click the "Post Free Ad" button.
- Add your mobile number.
- Select a category and subcategory.
- Fill in the title, description, price, and location.
- Upload photos (up to 20 images).
- Click "Submit" — your ad goes live after approval!
6. How many ads can I post for free?
We are pleased to offer our users the ability to post an unlimited number of ads completely free of charge. There are no restrictions on the number of active listings you can maintain across any category, allowing you to freely maximize your reach and opportunities on our platform.
7. Can I edit my ad after posting it?
Yes. You can edit your ad at any time from your dashboard. Go to "Manage my ads", click the listing you want to update, and click "Edit". You can update the title, description, price, images, and location.
8. How long will my ad stay active?
Standard free listings remain active for 365 days from the date of posting. After 365 days, the ad expires automatically, but you can easily repost it with one click from your dashboard.
9. Can I add photos to my ad?
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. Ads with high-quality photos receive up to 5x more enquiries than text-only listings. You can upload up to 20 photos per ad in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format.
10. Why was my ad rejected or removed?
Ads may be removed if they violate our Content Guidelines. Common reasons include prohibited categories, duplicate or spam listings, misleading descriptions, inappropriate images, or reports from other users. Contact us at support@myadrocket.com if you believe your ad was wrongly removed.
Buying and Safety
11. Is it safe to buy on MyAdRocket?
We implement multiple safety measures including e-mail verification for sellers, a reporting system for suspicious listings, and community-driven review flags. To protect yourself further:
- Always meet the seller in a safe, public place.
- Inspect the item carefully before paying.
- Never send advance payments without seeing the item.
- Trust your instincts — if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
12. Does MyAdRocket offer buyer protection?
MyAdRocket is a classified ads platform acting as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. While we work hard to maintain listing quality, we cannot guarantee individual seller behaviour. We encourage all users to exercise caution and conduct independent due diligence before any purchase.
13. How do I contact a seller?
On any ad listing page, you will find a "Message Seller" button. You can send a direct message via our in-platform messaging system, which keeps your personal contact details private until both parties choose to share them.
Account and Profile
14. How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" on the top navigation bar. Register using your email address or sign in quickly using your Google account. After registration, you will need to verify your email address by clicking on the verification link sent to your email.
15. How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we will send you a secure password reset link valid for 60 minutes.
16. How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile Settings page. Note that account deletion is permanent and all your listings and message history will be removed. Contact support@myadrocket.com for assistance.
Payments and Promotions
17. What paid features does MyAdRocket offer?
We offer several paid promotional features:
- Spotlight: A badge highlighting your ad in search results and category pages.
- Featured: Pin your listing to the top of its category for maximum visibility.
- Highlight: Highlight your ad in search results and category pages.
18. How do I pay for a promotion?
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, India's leading payment gateway. We accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets. All transactions are encrypted and MyAdRocket does not store your card details.
19. Can I get a refund on a paid promotion?
Refunds are available under specific circumstances. Please read our full Refund Policy. To request a refund, email support@myadrocket.com with your transaction ID.
